Legal & Frameworks

At The Amy Approach, we are committed to transparency, high-quality practice, and supporting educators in their professional growth. 🌱

Our work is grounded in evidence-based practices and widely recognised early childhood frameworks. We combine theory, reflection, and practical strategies to support educators in creating calm, confident, and connected learning environments. 🌿

Our Practices
  • Relationship-led approaches: We view behaviour as communication and prioritise secure, responsive relationships.

  • Co-regulation and emotional safety: Educators are supported to help children regulate their emotions through predictable routines and intentional interactions.

  • Play-based, child-centred learning: We honour children’s agency, curiosity, and voice in every aspect of their learning.

  • Educator wellbeing and reflective practice: Supporting adults to feel confident and connected is central to high-quality learning environments.

Framework Alignment

Our approach is informed by:

  • Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF Version 2)

  • ACECQA National Quality Standard

  • Attachment theory, neuroscience, and brain development research

  • Co-regulation and self-regulation frameworks

These frameworks and theories guide our workshops, mentoring, and resources, helping educators translate best practice into everyday routines and interactions.

Engagement & Wavier Agreement

Before commencing any service, we require services and individuals to review and sign a Waiver and Engagement Agreement. This agreement outlines the scope of services, fees, travel considerations, confidentiality, and professional boundaries, ensuring clarity and transparency for all parties.

Signing this agreement helps establish shared expectations and supports a calm, professional, and connected working relationship.

Professional Insurance

The Amy Approach holds Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance, providing coverage for all workshops, mentoring, and on-site consulting. This ensures that services, educators, and learning environments are supported with professional accountability, safety, and peace of mind.
